Platform Engineer · 2023 – present · remote
- Built an MCP suite that investigates incidents across 50 services and proposes fixes as pull requests — triage from 11 manual steps to 4.
- Rolled out AI-assisted PR review across 30 repos — every PR checked against its ticket, catching requirement gaps and exposed secrets before merge.
- Reusable Terraform modules across 15 AWS accounts — self-service environment provisioning, 2 days down to under an hour.
- EKS and GitOps delivery for 4 product teams — 15+ production deployments a day, standardized rollout and one-click rollback.
- HA Prometheus/Grafana/Alertmanager for 50 services — a 99.9% availability SLO with burn-rate alerting cut alert noise ~50% and MTTR from 45 to 15 minutes.
Before
DevOps Engineer · 2021 – 2023 · Chicago, IL
- Replaced static AWS credentials across CI and workloads — OIDC federation for pipelines, IRSA for 35 EKS services; eliminated 120+ static keys.
- Built the VPC layer three environments and 35 EKS workloads ran on — subnets across 3 AZs, IGW/NAT routing, service-scoped security groups instead of CIDR allowlists.
- Cut non-prod spend by gating NAT gateways per environment and tagging for cost allocation.
- Standardized CI/CD on reusable GitHub Actions workflows across 4 application teams.
